My shoes really do smell….

We bought a shoe-storage container from Ikea.

Pretty soon it smelled bad, like mouldey blue cheese.

Turned out it was my Nikes.  Pooooo.!

Odour eaters?

Today my shoes…don’t smell!

November 15, 2007 by nigellaseeds2

For once they don’t smell - my shoes that is.  But it’s more of a metaphor for the world doesn’t smell.

Maybe it’s because I’ve turned off the news recently - the introduction of an MP3 player in the gym instead of Sky News somewhat allows you to be a ‘lemming’ and get on with your own day rather than the pettiness of Sky news.

Jill Dando’s murderer’s appeal was succesful.  I must say the guy has eyes like a dog….maybe a rottweiler.  But who knows, maybe he is guilty but the conviction is not solid.  Doesn’t surprise me.  Human’s are like dogs…..desperate for a kill, even if it’s the wrong target.

Back on the subject of shoes, my ventilated climacools are showing their downsides - because they are mesh style ventilated, that ends in faster wear on the top of the shoe near the toe.  Both of them have now got little holes in the mesh where you can clearly see my white socks.  I’ll post pics if I have a minute, but I still recommend them for stinky feet - my first pair cost £90, 2nd pair £50….so not cheap.

Stinky ears - why?

My ears constantly stink of the oils from my hair.  Yuk!

I use a wet wipe often to help things.  But cleaning behind your ears couldn’t be any more essential than cleaning everywhere else.

And to think I didn’t clean them for years…

Smelly shoes….

Bizarrely there is a competiton to find the smelliest shoes - only in America however.

I used to have very smelly feet….in fact it all changed when I bought Adidas Climacool trainers.

They have holes in the bottom and top which let your feet breath…and they work.

Other causes include athletes foot (use a cream to get rid of that) and sock problems.

If you where two pairs of socks, it creates an air gap for air circulation and as a result your feet breath and don’t smell.

Now that’s out of the way…I can get on with the proper business of this blog…
